personal feed quest not going away after death

my hunger quest icon did not disappear after dying while swimming in river between hunters thicket and hot springs on gondawa the in game recording does not show it for some reason

I was low hunger and die in the river between the hunters thicket island and hot springs I was killed by another player (a rex) while playing as and albertaceratops swimming away the rex leaped on top of me and killed me but when I respawned and added back my hunger icon was still visible, I do not know if I still had it when I wasn't grouped and respawned because I was added to the group immediately. I originally thought it was one of my group members but realized they were both in savannah at the time. I walked back to the area, and it was still there I thought it would go away if I came back to it I even swam directly on top of it, yet it stayed. it did not go away until I entered a home cave. I had the green hunger mark present the entire time I was walking the map back to it to see why it was there. ill specify that I was the one hungry and needed to eat the quest marker should have never been visible on my screen to begin with its supposed to mark the person hungry you yourself isn't marked.
