Not getting trophy quest

I picked up a trophy and went to the homecave and when I got to homecave it didn't deliver. I think I might have still had a trophy cooldown but managed to pick up trophy still.

I picked up a trophy after killing a sacro then I walked to homecave and went into it then I realised that I had the trophy still. I also saw that when I looked at the trophy it said that trophy was on cooldown however I had it picked up. Then I waited a few minutes then left the homecave then the trophy cool down was gone so I dropped the trophy the picked it up again and got the deliver trophy quest. Went into the homecave again and the quest worked.
