Precision movement PC vs colsole

Description

While using a controller on PC, holding precise movement while walking forward causes the dino to slide on its feet awkwardly. I have tested this on my only two controllers - an xbox one, and a generic Logitech rumble pad. I've also been able to produce this bug on both windows 10, and Linux. I've also confirmed that the bug is not present on an xbox console. On xbox, the precise movement behaves normally. I made a quick video to demonstrate the problem if you're interested.

I made a bug report around Aug 10 when Steam controller support was broken somehow. I think the issue is different than I originally thought, so sorry for spamming you guys. Steam support was my old solution for this problem, and seems to have been semi-restored already. But it no longer fixes the precise movement issue.

Status changed to 'Done'. Reason: Some of the dinos seem to need a minute before precise-movement/trot works properly. But it all seems good now. Dont forget to check single player mode, that seems to be broken still. I dont know if my notes are helping, but I did A LOT of testing to figure out what was wrong. Please give me a bugtracker skin if you agree. Thanks!

Hey. It looks like you fixed the precise movement - trot issue! I'm so glad! Looks like it still doesn't work right in single player mode. But I just tested it on officials and on Nat Hist and looks like it is back to normal.

Okay, another update. I feel like I'm on my own here, half my friends don't even use precise movement lol. I've been playing around with the control setup, and I no longer think this is a controller support problem at all. I can replicate the same issue with keyboard and mouse even. The issue is that holding precise movement and walking forward USED to put the dino into trot mode automatically. That was handy for people using controllers. It is possible to assign a button for 'trot', but it makes things very awkward to toggle it on and off, and still find a button to assign to precise movement. The old way was so much more simple. Anyway, I hope someone reads this and understands what I'm trying to explain, and agrees with me. I just cant make this game work for me without precise movement and trot using the same button like it always had before. Thanks for your time

Update: Looks like precise movement is now broken on x box console as well. I don't know about the other platforms. New or inattentive players might not even notice or care about this change. I hope its actually a bug and not just the new movement mechanic.
