Salt water doesn’t increase water

When drinking salt water on low water as spino the water will decay without gaining any water

My water was very low on spino so I resorted to drinking salt water in white cliffs and my water was still decaying despite me drinking and I ran to the closest water source and it luckily did refill

I understand that drinking salt water refills water slower but I think I was supposed to be gaining faster than I was losing water
