Observed Result
Upon entering the cave, the textures on the surrounding walls start to shift back and forth, making it look like the walls are melting. The change in textures happens with movement and affects different parts of the cave walls. The degree of texture change is different with other playables and is more consistent with larger playables like Eotricerstops, Anodontosaurus, and Sarcosuchus. I’m also unsure if Eotriceratops is intended to fit inside the cave or if it’s an exploit, due to some smaller playables not being able to enter the cave, and I will be submitting another report next! Also worth noting I did not notice this prior to the recent Stegosaurus TLC.
Expected Result
Without this bug, the cave walls should be unchanged and have a constant appearance.
Steps to Reproduce
Enter the cave, the effect is not dependent on which of the two entrances you use.
Simply moving around while panning the camera around will show the effects. Different parts of the walls will change in appearance back and forth, consistent with you walking around the cave. The degree and exact positioning that triggers the bug changes with different playables. You do not have to be moving to see the effects, panning the camera around the cave will also cause it.
You can exit and enter the cave repeatedly and the same thing will happen again, regardless of weather or time of day. Observable in both the official servers and community servers. The only variable I’ve seen is what specific points in the cave trigger the bug, only changing with different playables and that playable’s default camera orientation.
