Aquatic Pokémon are taking a long time to appear when selected.

When logging out with a land creature, we return to the character selection menu. In this case, we want to switch from Thal to Kaiwhekea. On my device, when choosing this aquatic creature, the game freezes for 10 seconds without the character appearing. This also happens when switching from aquatic to land creature.

The character doesn't appear, we can't edit the character, enter the world, or select another character.

If this is resolved, the aquatic character should appear immediately upon selection.
