Non semi-aquatic creatures getting respawned at red island

I joined a new server on my stego after my stego had died on the previous server. Then I got spawned at red island

Only aquatics and semi-aquatics should be able to spawn at far locations like red island. As a stego it should have spawned inland

The stego should have spawned inland on the map. As stego is either of semi nor aquatic creature.
