Trapped Behind Kelp Forest Homecave Trigger

After exiting the kelp forest home cave I got turned around and immediately entered it again. Upon leaving I was trapped in between the back wall of the tunnel and the trigger that lets you in, so I couldn't leave without being placed back into the homecave. After a few attempts I was able to leave, unclear why. I was playing a juvenile eurhino (about 4 bars). With further testing later me and a friend were both able to recreate getting placed behind the entrance in other homecaves as well on both Gondwa and Riparia (not Panjura).

Exiting the homecave I was unable to swim back out into the ocean, I could only either swim towards the back wall and remain trapped or swim towards the exit and get placed back in the homecave.

Upon leaving the homecave you get placed near the entrance or middle of the tunnel allowing you to leave freely. Should not be able to become trapped behind the invisible wall.
