Logging out on Cliff Edge scratching tree leads to TPing to your character upon log in

If you log out on a scratching tree (specifically, the one in Cliff Edge large cave), when you log back in you will be teleported into the middle of the air near Big Tree, then a couple seconds later be teleported to where you logged out.

Upon entering the map you load into what feels like the max height then fall to the ground, but take no damage. After standing for a couple seconds, you end up teleported back to where you were when you logged out.

Expected to log in ontop of, or on the ground next to the tree.
