weird problematic spawn issue

So, I was on Gondwa when in chat someone said they needed waystone from red island. I supposed it was normal until this player said he was titan and had at least five other big carnivores with him on red island. In the chat, someone said this was common post-Stego TLC , and many other players and I started to help them via waystone across the map. there was no way for these guys to get off, but they were landers, and the only way to exit was to die. Kinda frustrating. And some of them didn't have chat, so we didn't know their names to help waystone.

I did not see them - I was far north in Savanna Grasslands. But this involved fifteen players or so.

they would spawn after their death onto actual land mass, like grand plains or salt flats.
